Testament to G-Side‘s creating and maintaining their own lane in music while staying deep-rooted in southern and more specifically Huntsville, Alabamian hip-hop, legendary Swedish radio journalist Mats Nileskär decided Slow Motion Soundz should be spoken of in the same breath as former interviewees James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green and Barry White, when he decided to speak with the duo in Norway while they were touring this Easter.
This recording is perhaps G-Side and the Block Beattaz‘ biggest achievement so far as it underlines and validates our feeling that they are circumnavigating the rap industry rat race and being recognised as true trailblazers in music as a whole. And they really haven’t even started yet.
